Paula Mignucci is a professional animal portrait artist, based in the beautiful Surrey Hills, UK. Her works range from realistic wildlife art to pet and equestrian portraiture.

Paula is a strong advocate for the protection of the natural world and animal welfare issues including poaching, human-animal conflict and the effects of climate change on the animal kingdom. I hope that I can play a part in being a catalyst for change by highlighting the destruction of our natural world through my art.”

Paula Mignucci, artist

After receiving a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion and Marketing, Paula pursued a career in the design industry, working initially as a fashion illustrator and designer in the Netherlands and later working as a design manager for large corporates, including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. Although the work was rewarding, she always yearned to follow her true passions - art and animals.

Paula works with professional grade paints, pastels and pencils. Her style is anatomically precise and photo-realistic, with many hours spent studying the form, values, textures and more importantly the anima (soul) of her subjects. She is a member of the Association of Animal Artists and sells her work through galleries or by commission.
